I layered the image up over 5 passes gradually reducing the font size and finally using the entire tweets instead of individual words at the smallest size. You need to view the really hi-res version to be able to read the tweets which is why these would be great as very large posters.

This was the second image I generated. The first one rendered upside down because I was translating the pixel in the image over to the illustrator coordinate system. I had to flip the image for it to render properly.

I started by simply stamping out a TextFrame object onto the Artboard using the image pixel colour as the text colour. Very simple but very effective.
